Since X-Setup is constantly updated, this dialog will help you find out the difference between the plug-ins you have currently installed and each old X-Setup version. It is very useful when you have installed a new version of X-Setup and simply want to know what has changed with the new version.
Menu: Selection -> Version History...
For possible keyboard shortcuts, see
Keyboard Shortcuts.
For possible inclusion of this item inside the toolbar, see
Toolbar.
To use the Version History Dialog, first select against which version you would like to compare the current plug-ins inside X-Setup. Next, select which changes should be displayed by using the checkboxes "Show new files", "Show updates files" and "Show deleted files".
Click "Start" to start the comparing process and X-Setup will display the items inside the "Results" pane. This pane is divided into two columns:
If you are interested in one of the changed plug-in, simply click to activate it directly in X-Setup. Please note that nothing will happen if you click on a file with the status "Deleted" since the file does no longer exist.
Note: If you have hidden any plug-ins through the Options dialog (for example, system critical plug-ins or those which are not designed for your OS), you will be told that you cannot open this plug-in.
Once you have finished, you can click the "Close window" button to dismiss this dialog, but the results are stored in memory, and will reappear the next time you open the dialog.
